One of the most underrated health is our “Gut Health”
& as matter of fact our body is home for trillions of microorganisms 🦠 or microbes 🦠
Theses microbes 🦠 either helps in building immune system / produces vital nutrients / it causes Diseases.
We human have been living in a “Symbiotic Relationship” in this world
& we share a similar relationship with microorganisms 🦠 called as “Symbiosis”
Symbiosis : “sym” means Together & “biosis” means living
“Living Together”
Symbiosis are of mainly 3 types :
1. Mutualism : Means both the Species are beneficial to each other.
2. Commensalism : Means in both the species one will benefit and the other will not benefit nor get harmed with this relationship.
3. Parasitism : Means species which lives on the host species and causes harm.
And we human have a “Commensalism relationship” with most of the organisms
Do you know How we Acquired our Microbes 🦠?
We acquire it at our birth mainly
Well if it’s a natural birth we acquire it from “Vaginal bacteria” and “Skin bacteria” of the mother
& If it’s a C-section we acquire it from “Skin bacteria” of the mother.
& once after the birth It is crucial in the first few weeks and the best way to nourish the baby 👶🏻 is by feed the right food and the best food for the Baby 👶🏻 is :
“Breast Milk🤱🏻” because it contains all the nutrients for its overall development and also feeds the microbes present in baby’s Gut and helps in building its “Gut Health” during this period
Not “Breastfeeding 🤱🏻” = Compromising/Damaging Human immune system & As our 70% to 80% immune system is in our Gut it may lead to infection as well & effect our Digestive system & brain development as well
So it’s very important at the initial days of being born to make a conscious effort in Breastfeeding 🤱🏻 so the baby’s Gut health is laid out strong and Better for its overall well-being.
