Main reason for Rise and fall which leads us to “Suffer Emotional & Mentally” in our Life By : Dr. Aniket Banvi

Suffering in our life is due to The five Kleshas are avidya (ignorance), asmita or (selfishness), raga (attachment), dvesha (aversion) and abhinivesha (fear).
The five Kleshas (suffering) are avidya (ignorance), asmita or (selfishness), raga (attachment), dvesha (aversion) and abhinivesha (fear).

5 major reasons why we suffer : Avidya-Asmita-Raga-Dvesa-Abhinivesa-Klesah

From Patanjali Yoga Sutra chapter 2 : Sadhana pada sloka 2.3

According to Yoga sutra : Suffering is due to 5 things

1. Avidya (Lack of knowledge)

2. Asmita (Selfishness or I)

3. Raga (Attachment)

4. Dvesha (Aversion/Hate) and

5. Abhinivesha (Fear)

We all know the consequence of Avidya (Lack of Knowleged).

Raga means (Attachment) with attachment comes the “comfort” which won’t last forever

As the universal rule which says : The only thing constant in this world is the “change”

We become sad “dukha” because we are attached and not ready to move on

As I (Ashmita: Selfishness or I)don’t want to Change & we humans take time to accept things as it changes during this process we are being drilled for the change & with that comes “hate” during the transition period (devesha)

Attachment = is pleasure with pleasure comes “comfort” which won’t last forever & we are attached to it (only thing constant in this world is the change) = we human hate change which causes “discomfort” and this discomfort may be physically , mentally , emotionally and we are sad(Dukha)= Devesha comes “Hate” causes pain

From : Light on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, page no :114

With all this happening to our body gets under “Fear” (Abhinivesha) of the out come which leads to be — stressed, anxious, depressed which further lead to lack of beliefs, faith and the body under Pain/stress it alters the hypothalamic activity leads to hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis activated “fright and flight mode” — that activates our “Sympathetic Nervous System”(stress response) and releases Cortisol, the primary stress hormone, which alters our Breathing pattern accelerates heart and lung activity, inhibition of digestive activity so on and further

The only way to overcome this is Accept and Embrace the change

Trust me things happen for reason we always feel things are falling apart but may be things are falling in place we are not ready to Accept & Embrace the change.

Yoga sutra : Lifestyle Technique to live a better life.

Yoga is a lifestyle not just asana and pranayama it has more substance to it when looked in

Sutra means : Technique To overcome

Yoga Sutra has give something called as Astanga Yoga (8 Limbs of yoga) these 8 steps which helps in overcome these “Suffering” from our life.
